To empower and advocate for Black and Indigenous birthing people of color and their families by providing culturally humble, equitable, and evidence-based support. We strive to create a world where every birth is a thriving, liberated, and safe experience, free from systemic inequities.

We envision Total Maternal Support as a driving force in the eradication of health disparities that cause disproportionate maternal/infant mortality and other poor outcomes for black and indigenous people of color.
birthing persons in achieving the birth and post-partum experience they desire and establish and/or sustain breastfeeding supply while advocating for increased access and integration of doulas for effective birth teams
expecting parents with education and advocacy needed and deserved to make informed decisions and give informed consent in their, and their family's best interest to dispel ingrained birth fear and to train and mentor a workforce of community based doulas who are change agents in the maternal/infant health crisis
birthing persons, their families, and the community with excellence to help attack the disparities within maternal health, reduce the infant/maternal mortality rates, increase community based doulas, and bring awareness to matters of maternal care and health
