Maximizing Impact: The Importance of Timely Referral
At TMS, we are deeply committed to honoring every referral from our valued community partners and ensuring every family receives access to our justice-centered care model.
However, the effectiveness and impact of doula support are directly tied to the duration of the relationship and the client's gestational age.
While we make every effort to accommodate all referrals, we strongly encourage partners to initiate contact as soon as possible in the pregnancy (ideally before 28 weeks gestation when possible).
We are dedicated to serving your clients, but please be advised that referrals made after 36 weeks gestation may be subject to availability and may receive reduced offerings due to time constraints.
We appreciate your partnership in advancing Birth Justice and ensuring equitable, trauma-informed care.
Community doulas are highly trained and play a crucial role in improving maternal and infant health outcomes.
