What it is
The Tribe Wellness App is our custom-built, all-in-one digital support hub designed by our founder specifically to carry expecting and postpartum families through the transitions of parenthood. It bridges the gap between clinical wellness and daily community support by placing mental health tracking, holistic coping tools, and local mutual-aid networks right on your smartphone's home screen.
App Features & Navigation Tabs:
- 💬 Mood Check-In: A streamlined daily tracker that helps you log and visualize your emotional trends over time, making it easier to notice shifts and share accurate updates with your care team.
- 📓 Journal: A flexible, private space to document your thoughts, raw emotions, or processing your birth experience. Entries can be typed, uploaded, or voice-recorded. It also includes an integrated feature to directly write and submit birth reviews to the national Irth app to advocate for safe, equitable black and brown maternal care.
- 🩺 Wellness Check: Regular, self-paced mental and emotional health screenings tailored for both mothers and fathers to catch the early signs of burnout, anxiety, or depression.
- 🌿 Holistic: Your digital wellness toolkit. Features integrated breathing techniques, positive affirmations, mindfulness practices, supplement education, and an on-demand generator for custom tea blends, nutritional recipes, and printable coloring sheets.
- 🫂 Tribe Offerings: The heart of our mutual-aid network. This space connects you directly to our peer support groups and structural neighborhood swaps. Parents can coordinate local childcare swaps, item exchanges, house help/chore trains, meal trains, or utilize the "Request to be Heard" feature when you simply need someone to listen.
- 🧠 Learn: A clear, stigma-free educational database focused on PMADs (Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders) to help you and your partner identify symptoms, learn the facts, and understand that you are not alone.
- 📚 Resources: A hand-curated library filled with external crisis lifelines, trusted national organizations, mental health apps, and evidence-based readings to support your long-term psychological and emotional well-being.
