- Novant Health- any NC location (verified doula- can also support csections in triage, operating room, and recovery room)

- Atrium Wake Forest Baptist Health: Winston-Salem & High Point locations (doulas currently count as visitors)
However if a csection is needed Cone Health is the only hospital that does not allow me to accompany you in the OR and Healthy Blue is the only Medicaid carrier that does not cover planned csections.

Unassisted birth is legal in North Carolina as well as birthing at home. I can support you at home in- person or virtually. I am also a trained midwife assistant and will be happy to assist your midwife and support you and your family.
However, please keep in mind Medicaid does not cover doula labor support in home settings so if a home birth is desired other means must be used to invest in the service.
Also clients are responsible for making sure any pets in the home are secured away from the doula while she's in attendance.

Topicals & Skin Care
Products: Breastmilk Soap, Postpartum Body Butter, Healing Salve, Massage Oil, Sleepy Mist.
- Patch Test Required: Always perform a patch test on a small area of skin 24 hours before full use to check for sensitivities or allergic reactions.
- External Use Only: These products are for external application. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
- Essential Oil Dilution: Our formulas use safe dilution ratios. However, if irritation occurs, discontinue use immediately and apply a plain carrier oil (like olive or coconut) to the area to soothe.
- C-Section Safety: Do not apply salves or body butters to a C-section incision until it is fully closed and your provider has cleared you for topical treatments (usually 6+ weeks).
- Safe for Newborns: The sleepy mist formula uses hydrosols rather than concentrated essential oils, making it safe for use from birth.
- Avoid Direct Contact: Do not spray sleepy mist directly onto the baby’s skin or face.
- Linen Safety: Always allow the fabric sprayed to dry before placing the baby on it to ensure there is no skin irritation.
- DO NOT USE the "The Final Drop" Weaning & Suppression Mist if you intend to continue breastfeeding or chestfeeding. This formula contains Peppermint and Sage essential oils, which are known to significantly reduce or eliminate milk supply. For engorgement relief while continuing to nurse, please use our Relief & Flow Cooling Spritz (Product #20) instead.
Pelvic & Perineal Care
Products: Perineal Prep Oil, Yoni Steams (Pre/Post), Sitz Baths, Peri-Bottle Oil.
- Pregnancy Contraindications: DO NOT use Yoni Steams during the first or second trimester. Late-pregnancy steams (38 weeks+) should only be done with the guidance of a professional.
- Infection Warning: Do not use sitz baths or yoni steams if you suspect a vaginal infection, have an undiagnosed discharge, or have open, unhealed Grade 3 or 4 tears without medical supervision.
- Temperature Safety: Always test the temperature of steam or bath water with your wrist before use. Tissue in the pelvic area is extremely sensitive and burns easily.
- Postpartum Timing: Do not begin yoni steaming until fresh, bright red bleeding (lochia) has tapered off (typically 2–4 weeks postpartum).
Internal Herbal Support

- Uterine Tonic Warning: Red Raspberry Leaf is a uterine tonic. While generally safe in the 2nd and 3rd trimesters, consult your provider if you have a history of preterm labor or uterine fibroids.
- Allergy Note: Our tea blends contain botanical ingredients. If you have a known allergy to the Asteraceae family (ragweed, daisies, marigolds), use caution with Chamomile and Calendula.medical supervision.
- Temperature Safety: Always test the temperature of steam or bath water with your wrist before use. Tissue in the pelvic area is extremely sensitive and burns easily.
- Postpartum Timing: Do not begin yoni steaming until fresh, bright red bleeding (lochia) has tapered off (typically 2–4 weeks postpartum).
Specific Ingredient Warnings
- Clary Sage: CRITICAL: Clary Sage is a uterine stimulant. Do not use products containing Clary Sage (such as the Labor Ease or Massage Oil) until you are at least 38 weeks pregnant or in active labor.
- Tea Tree Oil: While antimicrobial, Tea Tree can be drying or irritating to newborn skin. We recommend our Tea Tree infused soaps only for infants 6 months and older.
- Placenta Products: Salves containing placenta are for the user’s own biological use. Ensure the placenta has been handled and processed by a certified specialist to prevent bacterial contamination.
- Peppermint Oil: Be aware that topical or inhaled Peppermint oil can occasionally cause a dip in milk supply for some breastfeeding individuals. Use sparingly if you have supply concerns.known allergy to the Asteraceae family (ragweed, daisies, marigolds), use caution with Chamomile and Calendula.medical supervision.

- Preservative-Free: Because our products are handcrafted with natural oils and herbs, keep them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Water Contamination: For balms and salves, avoid getting water inside the jars, as this can lead to mold growth in preservative-free products.
- Breastmilk Soap: Keep your breastmilk soap on a well-draining soap dish to extend its life; natural soaps will soften if left in standing water.pregnant or in active labor.
